I tried to book my son's christening luncheon at Yardley Country Club - went there in person to check out all of the available rooms. I picked one, only to have the banquet coordinator - Diane Matthews - give the room away a few weeks later to a "bigger function". I found this out when I called to give her my final headcount.. she never bothered to call to tell me! I then asked for my 2nd choice, only to have tell me a few days later that THAT was now not available. This is all after I'd already had my invitations printed up. No sincere apology or effort to make ammends was made. I went back to the Yardley Inn where I've had every other function and had yet another great experience with them.
We held a business mixer at the YCC and it was excellent in every way. The food was delicious, servers were friendly, decor had recently been upgraded, and the views were beautiful. I'd highly recommend for business or personal events. Also, recently tried the summer avacado salad in their bar, and it was the best salad I've ever had - seriously.
